This is our sunrise safari, but the car is yours. Your driver picks up only your group, so you get to the desert without extra stops on the way. It's a quiet, unhurried start to the day, and a good choice for couples, photographers and families.
We collect you from your hotel about an hour before sunrise and drive out to the Al Khatim desert. You'll be in place before the sun appears, with Arabic coffee and local dates while the dunes turn from grey to gold.
Once it's light, your driver takes you over the dunes. Tell them if you want it lively or gentle, and where to stop for photos. Then there's time for sandboarding and a short camel ride before we take you straight back to your hotel, in time for breakfast.
The price is per vehicle, not per person. Up to 6 guests fit in one 4x4, and children count towards that number.
