It's an early start, but the desert at dawn is worth the alarm. The air is cool, the sand is quiet, and the dunes turn from grey to gold in a few minutes.
We pick you up from your hotel about an hour before sunrise and drive out to the Al Khatim desert. You'll be in place before the sun appears, sitting in a traditional Bedouin-style setup with a cup of Arabic coffee and some local dates.
Once it's light, your driver takes you for a drive over the dunes. After that there's time for sandboarding and a short camel ride, plus plenty of chances for photos while the light is soft. We have you back at your hotel in time for breakfast.
